This album summarized my works on sound over the past two years.

Frame drum, drum set, gongs, cymbals, bow, cassette recorder feedback, sticks and metals.
From indoor to outdoor, pedestrian and echo.
All the thoughts, chances, meeting and parting, experiences.

Nothing will go in vain on the path of experimentation.
Even so slightly
experiences spiral up
and drive us without our notice.

About Brian Chu
Brian improvises with various percussion instruments, cassette feedback and sound objects in live performances. He uses his hands to illustrate the sound visuals in his mind.

Through his improv, he explores the properties of sound in a percussive way. Through this process, he hopes to elaborate a unique language that corresponds to each passing immediacy.

Brian Chu (wo4) is supported by soundpocket’s Artist Support Programme 2018–19.

關於 龢wo4
運用敲擊樂器、卡式帶回饋和各種物件等作即興聲音演奏，以雙手描繪腦內的聲音圖像。

透過演奏企圖探索各種聲音的特質，從中尋找一種我身處此地去表達的語言。

龢wo4 為聲音掏腰包「藝術家支援計劃」2018-19 年度獲選年青藝術家。
