Home 家

Fenwick Pier used to be where marines set their first step on, after they set off a long journey from home.
They came here, searched for paintings, china decorations, tailor-made suits… some beautiful memories to bring back home.
If you have to share a reminiscence of Hong Kong to an outlander, what sounds do you recall?

The End

At the end of the day, our murmurings are not something metaphysical, but our conversations on food and people we care about are what we hold close to our hearts. The subtle sounds laid beneath the small talks — scratches from grass, distant sound of a train passing by, became the direct indicators of the unique soundscape of the space.

Standing at a pier that no longer has ship moored, what do you hear? Underneath the white noise of the crowd, are there any sounds that will lead you to a moment in the future?
